Mountain Iron-Buhl School Readiness

School Readiness 3  is a fun introduction to the school setting. There will be hands-on learning activities that are developmentally appropriate for three and (young) four year old children. Students will attend from 8:30 to 12:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. All learning is play based and presented in an engaging way. This class will help children build self-confidence, develop social skills independent of parents, and introduce academics in a developmentally appropriate way. 

• Children must be 3 years old by September 1st.
• Transportation is not available for School Readiness 3. Parents must transport. 
• There is a monthly fee for the SR3 class. There's also a sliding fee table to determine reduced and waived fees. 
• SR3 Orientation will be held Monday, September 16, 2024. Classes will begin on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

School Readiness 4 is designed to get children ready for kindergarten by providing them with hands-on, developmentally appropriate, play based learning opportunities the students social emotional development is one of the main areas of focus in this class.

• Children must be 4 years old by September 1st.
•  Transportation is available for 4-year-olds.
• School Readiness 4/Friday Class Orientations will be held September 3 & 4. Classes will begin on Thursday, September 5. ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY.

Friday 5th Day Option (for SR4 students only) is an extension of the SR4 class. It is optional, and there is a fee.

• Children must be 4 years old by September 1st.  
• Transportation is available for 4-year-olds. 
• There is a monthly fee for the Friday  class. There's also a sliding fee table to determine reduced and waived fees. 
• Friday students will not have a separate orientation. They will only attend the SR4 orientation.
