Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year! The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2.
On the first day of school all 7th Grade students need to report to the Small Gym (upstairs gym) by 8:15am; all 8th Grade students need to report to the Media Center by 8:15am; all 9th Grade students need to report to Mr. Burke's room by 8:15am; all 10th Grade students need to report to Ms. Rosckes' room by 8:15am; all 11th Grade students need to report to Mrs. Busch's room by 8:15am; and all 12th Grade students need to report to the Large Computer Lab by 8:15am. Students and teachers will go over the Student Handbook, Informational Packet and other handouts. Students will receive their class schedule and locker assignment at this time.
The high school office is open from 7:00-3:00, Monday-Friday, until school starts. Parents/guardians and students are welcome to come in at any time. Contact Joyce Hansen for any questions, 218.735.8271 x1005.
Sport activity fees are due at this time. The fee is $50.00 for grades 7-8 and $75.00 for grades 9-12. There is a family maximum fee of $200.00/family. Once a family has paid a total of $200.00, no other athletic fees will need to be paid for the school year. Fees can be paid to Joyce in the high school office. Students qualifying for free or reduced lunch do not have to pay the sport activity fee. However, parents/guardians must fill out an application for free/reduced meals for the activity fee to be waived. Applications are available in the high school office.
Sports physical are due every 3 years. The Insurance Waiver and Health Questionair must be filled out annually. The MSHSL Rules Agreement needs to be signed only once during an athletes career. Most forms can be found on our website under "Activities > Athletics". Paperwork can be turned into the coach.
Athletic passes will be sold at the first two home volleyball games and the first two home football games. $25/student and senior citizen; $75/adult; $125/family. During the school year, passes may be obtained in the central office from Jean Smith.
