Welcome to Mountain Iron-Buhl Public Schools

Mountain Iron-Buhl’s mission is to provide a quality education through shared responsibility in a safe supportive environment for all students to meet the challenges of a global society.

We are “Committed to Excellence”, and we work hard to make the site a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community.

The Minnesota State Patrol and our Local Law Enforcement Officers want you to know that traffic crashes are the number one killer of Minnesota teens.  Inattentive or distracted driving is getting out of hand.  The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for your help and cooperation.  You can keep our roads safe by taking personal responsibility for your own actions behind the wheel.  Together, we can save lives in our community.  So put away your cell phones, buckle up, and pay attention to your driving.  No one’s last words should be LOL or OMG.  During the next few months, starting in November, the Minnesota State Patrol, along with Local Law Enforcement, will be conducting saturations around area schools targeting distracted driving and seat belt use.  It’s up to you to make safe and smart choices on the road.
