Hi! My name is Julia Laulunen. I am the 2023-24 math teacher for our 5th & 6th graders here at MIB. This will be my 5th year working in a school setting and I am so excited that I get to be a part of the MIB team and community. I am a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Superior with a major in Elementary Education. My family is from the Side Lake area where I love to enjoy the beautiful lakes. My favorite part of teaching is encouraging my students. I love to see them grow, learn from mistakes, and have a positive view of themselves no matter where they are in their learning. My goal for my students will be to choose kindness and have a growth mindset.
